I started where most of my clients start:
with a lot of ideas, a lot of heart, and the bold belief that you really can do anything.
For more than a decade I photographed weddings. I was telling love stories and documenting once-in-a-lifetime days. And while I loved the artistry and storytelling, something else kept pulling at me. I realized I loved the business side of being a photographer just as much, if not more.
The strategy. The visuals. The design.
The way a brand feels before you ever say a word.
And it's no surprise. Every "career test" I took put me in the visual communication bucket and when the university I chose didn't have a graphic design or photography major, I dove head first into majoring in what they did have: Strategic Communications. Which can basically be summed up as saying, I have a constant fascination with how brands show up visually and emotionally. I wasn’t just interested in taking photos... I was obsessed with how imagery could communicate deeper messages, form an identity, and be full of meaning.
